Robert (Bob) Pocica is an experienced and dynamic professional, a strategic senior executive who has developed, implemented and managed global risk mitigation strategies impacting the security and safety of people, product and property. A former SVP & Chief Security Officer at a Fortune Five, who has led transformations of risk management mitigation solutions and processes around the world. His 23 years of service in the FBI establishes him as a trusted expert resource in all areas of an organization’s risk mitigation operations. He can provide expert counsel and advice in a variety of disciplines, to include; corporate aviation matters, leadership and coaching for executives and teams, global security program governance, structure, operations, and effectiveness; threat intelligence analytics and reporting, supply-chain integrity solutions including real-time monitoring and responsiveness and crisis and incident response and management.
Bob retired as Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer at McKesson in January 2019. As a Fortune Five company, McKesson is the oldest and largest healthcare company in the nation and plays an integral role in healthcare in the global marketplace. Bob was responsible for all aspects of security, including supply-chain security, physical security, investigations, workplace violence program, event and executive security and the Environmental Health and Safety program. He also managed McKesson’s flight department. Bob facilitated the establishment and served as the Chair, of the Senior Risk Advisory Board at McKesson, which provided strategic guidance for enterprise risk mitigation.
Before joining McKesson, Bob was the Senior Director of Global Security at Pfizer Pharmaceutical. As a global company, Bob developed and managed global risk mitigation solutions. During his tenure at Pfizer, he led the development and training in China to assist the Chinese PSB in combating counterfeit pharmaceutical products.
Prior to that role, Bob served 23 years with the FBI as a Special Agent. Throughout his career, he was assigned to several FBI Field Offices working various criminal investigations. He also served as a firearms instructor, a SWAT team member and a pilot. Bob worked in several components at FBI Headquarters including property theft, the Unabomb investigation, the FBI National Stolen Art File and healthcare fraud. He also was a co-architect for establishing the new FBI Cyber Division. He helped establish the Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC) which later became IC3. He also worked in the International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP) which had responsibility for training law enforcement personnel on a global basis. While in the Health Care Fraud Unit, he received the Attorney General Law Enforcement Award for leading a successful investigation into the largest health care fraud case in the U.S.
